Two students and two teachers were killed and nine others were hospitalized after the shooting at Apalachee High School.

A 14-year-old charged with killing two students and two teachers in a shooting at a high school outside Atlanta was interviewed last year about online threats to commit a school shooting, law-enforcement officials said.

Nine others were hospitalized, including eight students and one teacher, after the shooting at Apalachee High School in Winder, Ga., on Wednesday. All are expected to survive. The suspect, Colt Gray, surrendered at the scene and was later charged with murder.

Gray was interviewed by the local sheriff’s office in May 2023 after authorities received anonymous tips about threats of a school shooting, the Federal Bureau of Investigation said.
