Rise of ‘Scientism’ and the ‘Junk’ Climate Models Used by Government to Take Farmers’ Land
Last year, while traveling around the Netherlands and speaking with the farmers getting kicked off their land, we also wanted to answer a fundamental underlying question. The Dutch farmers were getting off their land because the government ostensibly wanted to reduce nitrogen emissions, with the thinking being that if they didn’t reduce emissions, the environment will be ruined. However, is that really the case? Will the environment really be in danger if these nitrogen standards aren’t met? And also, what is the science behind those standards? The best weather models can only tell you the forecast for about a week out, but these government nitrogen models claim to be able to foresee the future decades in advance. And so, in order to figure this out, we went over to the home of Dr. Jaap C. Hanekamp. He’s not only a scientist who’s studied the nitrogen issue for well over eight years—and he was even commissioned by the nitrogen ministry to look into the matter—but aside from being a scientist, he’s also a theologian, giving him a very unique perspective on the matter. And what he told us about these climate models was rather shocking, to say the least. Take a listen.
