At the Paris Opening Ceremonies, the best of times, or the worst? A memorable ceremony to open the Olympics

5 takeaways from the opening ceremony of the 2024 Paris Olympics. It was wet, parts of it were weird, much of it was beautiful and all of it was very, very memorable. An opening ceremony unlike any other got the 2024 edition of the Olympic Games officially underway in Paris Friday night and truly it was one that will live on in Olympic legend – though maybe not in the way the Paris 2024 organizers would have hoped.
