Chinese companies already own some of the most popular video games on the market. And the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) seems to now be taking notice. The gaming industry for China is now being treated as a type of soft power tool to the West. Cash from one of its most popular games is being used to fund technologies with deep CCP interest.
