Keller ISD’s COVID-19 dashboard shows nearly a thousand active cases. “So, you can understand our anxiety right now, how much we are concerned,” said Priyanka Patel, a Keller ISD parent.

Across the state interest in homeschooling is starting to peak.

According to the Census Bureau at the end of last school year only 4.5 % of Texas students were homeschooled. Last fall, that number rose to 12.3 % and now, the Texas home school coalition is estimating this fall a record 20% of students may be homeschooled.
