Dallas Passes LGBT Bathroom Ordinance Allowing Men in Women’s Bathrooms

This week, the Dallas City Council fast tracked and approved an aggressive and dangerous bathroom ordinance that allows men into women’s bathrooms and tramples religious freedom. In a surprise move that involved the Council approving controversial language in a closed door meeting late Monday night, without public input, the Council voted unanimously to pass the new sweeping language Tuesday morning. The language is similar to the “gender identity, “sexual orientation,” and “public accommodations” language contained in the Houston Bathroom Ordinance that was empathically defeated by Houston voters, 61%-39%, just last week.

Make no mistake, LGBT advocates want to spread these dangerous laws to every city in Texas. The voters in Houston made a strong statement but now Dallas (and all of Texas) must send the message that we will not allow common sense, safety, and religious freedom to be destroyed by political correctness.
