… the U.S. Capitol Police, which now plans to open satellite offices in two states to deal with threats to members of Congress.
In a news release on Tuesday, the six-month anniversary of the riot, the Capitol Police announced they were continuing “to implement recommendations from a series of post January 6 reviews.” These included the satellite offices as part of a suite of services purportedly designed to enhance protection for members of Congress…as they expand into field offices in California and Florida.”
