What would you guess the percentage is of young people who believe America is the greatest country in the world?

90? 75% 50%?

You may be shocked to hear the most recent findings from a Pew Research Center poll. The answer is:

15%!

Just 15% of young people ages 18-29 say America “stands above other countries” as the greatest country in the world.

How did this happen? What is being taught in our schools and in our culture is the obvious place to look for the cause.

And a President who relentlessly tears down America during his frequent addresses to young audiences has taken its toll. Here is one from a recent speech in Selma Alabama. … slaves who built the White House, … laborers who organized for workers rights, … Japanese Americans whose own liberty had been denied during WWII, … gay Americans whose blood ran on the streets of San Francisco and New York, … and Jackie Robinson experiencing scorn and spiked cleats and pitches coming straight to hi head.” Then he said, “that is what America is…”

Nearly two decades ago Ronald Reagan stated the we must re institutionalize an American spirit and do a better job of getting across that America is freedom.
