Technology we create requires a great amount of thought and control when it comes to using it. Whether it is smart phones, the internet, computers, television, social networks, stem cells, the human genome, nuclear weapons, etc, etc, etc. Not that technology is bad. We invent it, and then we take generations to figure out the good, the bad and the ugly about the impacts of using it. Just because we created it, doesn’t mean we automatically know how to handle it.
