Will feds decimate one owl species to help another?

The Feds are preparing to massacre 500,000 owls with shotguns.

Remember the spotted owl?

Green groups exploited the northern spotted owl as a pretext to control people’s use of forested land.

Turns out people were never the problem. Bigger, tougher barred owls were picking on the spotted owls. Researchers knew it all along.

“The Clinton administration even orchestrated an ‘Owl Summit’ at which federal officials and environmentalists congratulated themselves for caring so much about the fate of the northern spotted owl. Those who pointed out that the problem lay not with old-growth forests but with the encroaching barred owl were ignored… the feds now acknowledge that the problem lies with the barred owl.”

Nature is not static. Species move, wax, and wane all the time.

What does not change is the single-minded focus of Green-Left radicals. No matter what the issue, their answer is always the same: grant them control over people.

The same Greens who were laser-focused on using the spotted owl to deny legitimate human use of the forest, are today focused on dictating how we use energy. The same Greens who did not want us to know how barred owls impact spotted owls, now don’t want us to know how massive clusters of wind turbines along our coast impact whales and other marine life.

For the Left, the narrative conquers all, even if preserving their narrative leads to blasting owls out of trees, or the extinction of the right whale.
