Ivermectin can help restore smell and/or taste lost due to COVID-19 infection or mRNA vaccine, says critical care and pulmonary specialist Dr. Pierre Kory.

Ivermectin, omega-3 fatty acids, and anti-clotting agent nattokinase are part of the COVID-19 treatment protocol recommended by the Front Line COVID-19 Critical Care Alliance (FLCCC), of which Dr. Kory is cofounder.

Over 25 percent of Americans did not fully recover their sense of smell after COVID-19 infection, while more than 20 percent did not fully recover their sense of taste, based on a recent study.

In 2020, a citywide trial of ivermectin to prevent COVID-19 infection took place in Itajaí, Brazil. More than 113,000 ivermectin users were included. How did they fare compared to the city’s non-ivermectin users?

What effect does ivermectin share with anti-opioid/alcohol-abuse drug naltrexone that potentially counters COVID-19 symptoms, such as loss of smell and taste?

On VitalSigns, host Brendon Fallon probes “non-standard” treatments that can help relieve COVID-19 symptoms, like loss of smell and taste.
