A Las Vegas man was arrested last week and accused of making threatening phone calls to the office of a U.S. senator from Nevada, including profane and antisemitic voice messages and at least one death threat, federal officials said Monday.

A few days after the militant group Hamas staged a surprise attack in Israel, John Anthony Miller, 43, allegedly began threatening Democratic Sen. Jacky Rosen, leaving voice mails that mentioned the Israel-Gaza war.
