Free Market Environmentalism.
The largest stewards of western land is an absentee landlord.
There’s a backlog of deferred maintenance, run down visitor centers, failing waster water systems, repair seeded up to a tune of nearly $12B.This is an almost overwhelming sum.
Yet, the federal government continues to acquire land, even though it can’t take care of it. It’s like a landlord who keeps buying houses only to let them rot for want of upkeep.
Government shouldn’t control public land it it can’t take care of it!
