Multiple Democratic members of the New York congressional delegation are calling for Gov. Andrew M. Cuomo (D) to resign over growing allegations of sexual misconduct, including high-profile Democrats such as House Judiciary Committee Chairman Jerrold Nadler, House Oversight Committee Chairwoman Carolyn B. Maloney and a member of the House Democratic leadership,

In a barrage of statements Friday morning, a dozen of the state’s Democrats cited the allegations against the three-term governor as well as reports that his top aides changed the data to hide a higher number of deaths in state nursing homes due to the coronavirus pandemic.

There are now six women who allege Cuomo harassed or touched them inappropriately. He has rejected calls to resign; his office had no comment Friday.
