Let’s get real folks!

I can feel the author’s emotion in this TIME Magazine column. We all can.

This is senseless!

Just like the video of the man beating the defenseless elderly.

Or the video of the black gang beating the defenseless handicapped white boy in Chicago.

They all make you nauseous. This is a natural, emotional reaction.

But, this author’s reaction, blaming ‘white America’, is not reality.

Who freed the slaves? Black people?
Who died in the civil war fighting for that freedom? Black people? A few.
Who ended segregation? Black people?
Who passed the civil rights bill? Black people?

No white people. ‘White Americans’!

Not white Democrats, white Republicans.

Every black person, or white person, or any person, that dies unnecessarily from violence like this is an emotional hurt for all people of all races. A stomach turning sickening feeling. That is reality in the 21st century.

Also a reality is that evil lives among us. Evil of all races we should be stomping out together.

Another reality is riots are not protests! Riots are evil. There is no justification for rioting. If you are rioting, your objective is something other than protestors. Riots are to be put down – immediately, and hard! That’s reality.

Protests are necessary and in reality, American.

Are too many black people getting killed by police brutality? Even one would generate a yes response. That’s reality.

Are too many white, Asian, native American, Islamic, etc., people getting killed by police brutality? Even one would generate a yes response. That’s reality.

Is the supposed epidemic of black people being murdered by police, more prevalent that police murdering other groups? No, it is not. That’s is reality.

Are all police racist and evil? No, they are not. 98%+ are the protectors we send them out there to be. That’s reality.

Here is a statement debunking the police brutality myth and confirming this is a political and media narrative. That’s reality!

And, finally, this headline reads like a Saturday Night Live skit. But it is REAL! Minneapolis Mayor Asks Rioters To Wear Face Masks And Practice Social Distancing As City BURNS . Is this a realistic reaction? Does this mayor even get it? No!

Reality folks. It will help us solve this and every problem!
