Cooking the Climate Books

It starts as a redistribution scheme.
The whole man-made global warming, excuse me, climate change — ploy has a three pronged purpose:
1. the redistribution of wealth to Third World countries;
2. the destruction of capitalism worldwide; and
3. the promotion of global socialism.
This according to their own proponents:
– “Climate change policy is about how we redistribute de-facto the world’s wealth.” Ottmar Edenhofer, IPCC official, quoted in Forbes, 2/5/13.
– “We have got to ride the global warming issue. Even if the theory of global warming is wrong, we will be doing the right thing in terms of economic policy …“. Timothy Wirth, former US Senator (D-CO).
– “The answer to global warming is in the abolition of private property and production for human need. A socialist world would place an enormous priority on alternative energy sources. This is what ecologically minded socialists have been exploring for quite some time now.” Louis Proyect, Columbia University, AIM, 12/4/08

Temperature Fudging.
To push their agenda, climate alarmists lie!
– Christopher Booker at The [UK] Telegraph reports that the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA), through its US Historical Climatology Network (USHCN), has “shamelessly manipulated” surface temperature for decades. They’ve literally cheated, deleting the real temperature record and replacing those numbers with fabricated temps to show increased warming.
– They were caught red-handed by Tommy Heller, who blogs as Steve Goddard at the website Real Science. He noticed that their 19999 version of the temperature record looked completely different from the 2012 version. In the older version, July 1936 was , accurately, the hottest month on record int eh US. But, in the newer version, 1936 somehow lost heat – to make July 2012 seem way warmer. Once caught, NOAA quietly reinstated the old July 1936 data.
– NOAA uses a convoluted process to concoct deceptive numbers. A 2009 National Climatic Data Center (NCDC) study notes that man temperature stations were located near parking lots, or building exhausts, which boost the temps. This is what passes for”settled science”.

Ice Scream.
In May, 2014, headlines blared: “Irreversible Collapse of the Antarctic Glaciers Has Begun!” and “Antarctic Ice Melt Irreversible!“. Literally two months later, the news is: never mind. Suddenly, Antarctica is experiencing the “highest overage of sea ice since satellite records began in 1979.” So apparently the collapse was reversible after all. Instead, climate alarmists keep pointing to a small decrease in Arctic Ice, ignoring the significant Antarctic increase.

Hysteria.
“We know that the 20 warmest years on record for our planet all happened since 1990 — and this past May was the warmest ever … with longer wildfire seasons … more severe droughts … you can ignore the facts, [but] you can’t deny the facts“. Barack Obama, 6/25/14
Baloney! Wildfires have decreased globally by 15% since 1950, as Prof. Larry Bell points out in Forbes. Nature noted in a study that “there has been little change in global drought over the past 60 years.” Hurricane activity is at a low not seen since the 1970s in this country. In fact, the US is experiencing the longest absence of severe landfall hurricanes in over a century.”, notes Bell.
Climate Change has become a catchall of liberal doom-mongering to explain virtually every passing phenomenon:
– A lot of snow = climate change. No snow climate change.
– Many hurricanes = climate change. Few hurricanes = climate change.
– Drought = climate change. Flood = climate change. Sunny = climate change. Cloudy = climate change.
– Mental illness = climate change.

No Warming.
Here’s the inconvenient truth: There is no warming!
There has been no warming – none at all – for the last 17 years and 10 months.
The left loves to claim that global warming, er, climate change, is endorsed by “97% of scientists“.
Yes, they made that up too!
