11/7/18: updated 11/08/18:
3 Senate seats remain in doubt, including 2 that have already been called.
- Arizona. Martha McSally (R) and Kyrsten Sinema (D), winner has not been declared. The lead for Simena now is <21,000 votes. Rumor is that 500,000 votes have been discovered!?!
- Florida, called for Republican Rick Scott. Democrat Bill Nelson has requested a recount. The margin of victory for Scott is 0.4%. Rick Scott brings suit saying Dems trying to steal election.
- Mississippi. runoff required on 11/26. Neither Cyndy Hyde-Smith (R) 42% or Mike Espy (D) 39.3% got the 50% needed to win.
If the Nelson recount reverses Florida and the 500,000 discovered votes swings Arizona, Republican Senate majority may be back to 51.
Max / min range for Republican Senate majority today looks like 54 (if FL holds, MISS runoff and AZ fall Rep) or 51 (if all 3 go Dem – which means a Democrat Senate majority).
