White House Press Secretary Sarah Sanders ripped Walt Disney Company CEO Robert Iger for his “double standard” when it comes to his employees’ conduct.

Sanders was asked by NBC News reporter Kelly O’Donnell why President Donald Trump chose to criticize Iger in a tweet after comedian Roseanne Barr was promptly fired for making racist remarks about former Obama official Valerie Jarrett.

Trump said on Twitter that Iger immediately called Jarrett to say “ABC does not tolerate comments like that” and added that “gee, he never called [me] to apologize for the horrible statements made and said about me on ABC.”

Sanders said Trump was calling out Iger’s and ABC’s “bias,” adding that “no one is defending what [Barr] said.”

“Where was Bob Iger’s apology to the White House staff for Jemele Hill calling the president and anyone associated with him a “white supremacist.” Hill’s employer, ESPN, is also owned by Disney.

Sanders said it is “hypocritical” that Iger took action against Barr, while deciding to re-hire former MSNBC commentator Keith Olbermann to ESPN.
