President Donald Trump on Saturday took square aim at the media over erroneous reporting, capping a week of back and forth between the president and one of his favorite punching bags.

Early Saturday, Trump slammed CNN for correcting a report about his son Donald Trump Jr., saying the network made a “vicious and purposeful mistake” in its reporting of emails received by the Trump campaign containing information from WikiLeaks relating to hacked Democratic National Committee documents. Later Saturday, Trump turned his ire on a Washington Post reporter who apologized for tweeting a picture that appeared to misrepresent crowd size at his Pensacola rally Friday night, calling for his firing.

“They were caught red handed, just like lonely Brian Ross at ABC News (who should be immediately fired for his “mistake”),” the president wrote on Twitter on Saturday morning. “Watch to see if @CNN fires those responsible, or was it just gross incompetence?”
