“We condemn … this … display of hatred, bigotry and violence, … on many sides …”

Two groups of idiots got together in Charlottesville, Va last night and today to demonstrate their stupidity. Violence erupted, people were hurt and at least 1 killed. Apparently their objectives were achieved.

If either group had demonstrated alone, there would have been no violence. The fact that when either group decides to demonstrate, it is an invitation for counter protestors from the other side to participate. We have seen this all year long.

President Trump made two appropriate statements today about this event.

The mainstream media condemned Trump for not specifically condemning only the right wing extremists. They in turn would not condemn the left wing extremists who also participated in the violence. Virginia Gov. McAuliffe went even farther by condemning free speech of only one side – a consistent leftist message.

They forgot to mention that Ivanka Trump denounces white supremacy, neo-Nazis after Charlottesville.

President Trump had the only correct statement made yesterday. “We condemn in the strongest possible terms this egregious display of hatred, bigotry and violence on many sides, on many sides,” Trump said during a short statement. “It has been going on for a long time in our country — not Donald Trump, not Barack Obama. It has been going on for a long, long time. It has no place in America.”
