While we talk of listening to people, no one on the left will want to listen to Newt Gingrich, on anything, much less the issues around the Tulsa and Charlotte police shootings. But, they and we should. Why? because he makes sense.
It’s not PC its truth. Get political agendas, revolutionary objectives and political correctness out of the way and discuss this issue with calmness and truth.
A protest and a riot are not the same thing. Note to media, learn to distinguish between the two and condemn the riot and the rioter. An opportunity to riot – is not an opportunity to correct a grievance.
Another note to media, their are different groups involved in these riots, legitimate grievance protestors, opportunistic looters (protestors are yelling at the looters, for example), and organized, professional agitators with a revolutionary agenda. Identify and differentiate the participants. Support the legitimate protestors. Lock up the looters. Investigate the organized, professional, revolutionary agitators.

“This is an American tragedy,” former House Speaker Newt Gingrich said Wednesday on The Kelly File, describing hundreds of people demonstrating in downtown Charlotte, N.C., caught on video antagonizing police officers and vandalizing businesses.
The protests occurred in the wake of the shooting death of a black man officials say brandished a gun at law enforcement, as the county’s police chief reported in an exclusive interview.
“Fifty-three years after Martin Luther King’s ‘I Have A Dream’ speech; eight years after the election of an African-American president…race relations are decaying in this country.”
“Schools that don’t work, neighborhoods with no jobs, random violence, a sense of being powerless even though there is an African-American president,” Gingrich said.
