Weird? Brilliant, but opposite messaging.

from The Gray Area:
8/7/24:
Gov Walz, the new Democrat candidate for VP, describes Republicans and the Republican President & VP as 'weird people', which offers a new attack phrase and political narrative for the left-wing media. The far-left progressive base loves it. Watching Gov Walz deliver & explain this phrase gets right to the point of this election. He talks in political narratives, not truth & reality. His narrative word salad delivery is much better than Kamala Harris', I must admit, but still void of reality. For example, he states: - 'a venture capitalist and a 'Robert Barron' real estate developer don't know anything about the middle class or who we are'. Trump was President for 4 years and showed he could improve the lives of women, blacks, hispanics and non-college educated white workers. This is one of the Dems 'Achilles heels' against Trump, they have to lie about his record. And, JD Vance? Read his book, describing who he was before he became a venture capitalist. He is the American Dream. C'mon, man! The middle class is leaving Democrats in droves because they realize the Democrats have done nothing for them for 60 years but talk. This is a political narrative designed to save that important base for the Dems. - 'they want to take books away' Another political narrative that focuses the listener away for the issue. Yes, Republicans do want to ban some books from schools, specifically explicit sexual books in elementary school. Do you want those book in schools? Plus, who really bans books? Democrat progressives. They go to publishers and demand books NOT BE PUBLISHED or that books be removed that they don't like.  They go to social media and internet search engines to have books, podcasts, or video series blocked because they don't like them. C'mon, man! - 'they want to be in your exam room' An abortion political narrative, which avoids the issue of ending the life of a developing human being. They would end the life of a developing organism for no other species. Why is end the life of a developing human being ok? That's reality, they don't want to task about. Gov. Walz passed one of the most permissive abortion laws in the country. No limitations for age or term. - 'they don't want to but can't help talking about race, because it is built into their DNA' What? - 'no healthcare plan' That certainly appears to be true. But, the Republican outline is to bring healthcare closer to the patient. That outline is better than the reality of Obamacare and the record of socialized medicine around the world.  This is a serous problem considering the damage done to our healthcare system by failed Democrat involvement.  We need serious, not narrative debate. - 'they want to take away alliances and leave Russia to do whatever they want' Totally made up. They will use as evidence Trump's statements about NATO. Did he eliminate NATO? No.  What did he do? He got the NATO alliance to help pay for their own defense and become stronger in the meantime. How awful. Yet Biden/Harris abandoned Afghanistan, tells Israel to stop defending itself, allows Iran and its network of terrorist to threaten the world and does nothing as China threatens Taiwan ... please. - 'they are bad on foreign policy' What a joke. All you have to do is look at the Biden presidency and the Obama presidency and you see where foreign policy failure exists. See above if you easily forget the recent examples. - 'bad on the environment' Climate change is different than the environment. Climate change is a political narrative. He wants the debate to be crisis vs hoax, when the truth is climate change is neither. Yes, Republicans are bad on climate change, but they are serious on the environment. Environment is an issue. Gov. Walz' uses the environment because he know that and he wants it to mean climate change. Remember, none of this is a debate about reality and issues. He is pushing the debate on political narratives, which the Democrats are better at than  policy and issues. Weird? It's opposite messaging. As Lance Morrow in the Wall Street Journal said, Have you seen the other guys?
  • Boys may be girls and girls may be boys, according to impulse or whim.
  • Criminals are victims.
  • Civilization is barbaric.
  • The ambition of the progressive left has been to dismantle the previous America as being racist, oppressive, sexist and excessively white.
  • To turn society upside down and shake it by the ankles until change falls out of its pockets.
Now that is weird!
