Now we know why someone would vote for a candidate who has no accomplishments, never won a primary, won't sit down for interviews, and has such dangerous big government, authoritarian policies. The Washington Post said this yesterday that Democrats say detailed positions are less important than a big message. According to Breitbart, “...so the main thing is she’s got a good vibe. She’s good for women, which presumably means she likes abortions. I don’t know if it’s necessarily good for women, how she rose to the top. People like her, so she’s got enthusiasm, which is, a lot of this is astroturfed by the media. Which is – recall, she didn’t even make it to Iowa in the 2020 primary – and that she won the vice presidency, which you know, some of you in the audience might not think that that is a great accomplishment for a number of reasons. So far, that’s it. Not a single accomplishment. She’s got a great vibe and she won.” But, today she comes out with a Communist price control program for her campaign. Wow. Just what authoritarians and Marxists want to hear. The politician provides silly word salads full of political narratives you like, and you vote for them. Then they do whatever they want, and you still think they are doing the feel good word salad stuff. When things inevitably go bad, they blame the other guys and continue on, destroying the country. Any doubts, see Venezuela. The Hollywood crowd loved Chavez takeover of Venezuela 25 years ago, election in 1999, after two failed coups and a stint in prison. Now, not the formerly wealthy country anymore, it is a hell hole that the good people of Venezuela are trying to fight their way out of! So America, sure, lets go with vibe, identity politics, big message and big government giveaways. We know how that will end.
