"technically correct"

Washington Post fact checker Glenn Kessler, widely known for his left-wing facts, said about speakers at Day 1 of the RNC "made false or misleading claims about border crossings, gas prices, tax cuts, the relative wealth of young Americans and Easter Sunday." So, read on. In the very first explanation regarding border crossings, he says, Republican National Committee Chair Michael Whatley's "statement [is] technically correct". Ok, stop reading. You have run into the basic 'bias tell' of media fact checkers. Even if a statement from Republicans is 'technically correct', it is still false & misleading. What follows is insertion of a left wing political narrative designed so that you will discount the 'truth' of the statement, for the spin of the fact checker. All media fact checkers use false, misleading or incomplete to charge the right with pushing falsehoods. Trump is a serial liar with over 30,000 false, misleading or incomplete statements. Therefore, if evenly distributed, he only told 10,000 falsehoods. Or, were they technically accurate? You have to either believe the headline, or read them all to find out. When you read them, you find less reason to .. read them. Something else you will notice. Right-wing media usually does not fact check Republicans. And, left-wing media does not fact check Democrats. The latter is why the left-wing media got away with covering up Joe Biden's mental and physical issues for 3 1/2 years. All this to say, you must always ignore or 'check the checkers', vary your news sources, and then do your own research. But, don't just 'google' to fact check.  Google only provides left-wing fact checks...100s of them... without 1 right-wing opinion. Get it! More From The Washington Post (subscription required):
