Sometimes, a country is doing so well that it can afford a silly season. This is not that time and the US is not that country.

Critical national priorities will be taking a back seat, for the foreseeable future, to utter kookery. The No. 1 issue in the 2024 presidential campaign..., beyond any doubt, will be immigration.
