Political narratives on display with Biden's Colorado speech

These two media approaches to President Biden's speech in Colorado demonstrate the primary focus of political narratives in, eh hum, 'journalism'. One of the major left wing Democrat and media political narratives is supposed 'MAGA extremism', of which Congresswoman Lauren Boebert of Colorado is a major target. So, they focus Biden's speech on her, Trump's MAGA supporters and the GOP House. On the right, a major political narrative is President Biden cognitive deterioration. There is certainly more evidence here for that concern. Should American voters be most concerned about these narratives? No. We need not see more demonizing attacks on political opponents. Instead we should see the debate of ideas. He could have spoken about any or all of the following and made the trip useful politically, for him and the country. But, he did not.
