Critical Race Theory
Also being implemented in schools as Action Civics. Critical Race theory is an academic discipline, formulated in the 1990s, built on the intellectual framework of identity-based Marxism. Relegated for many years to universities and obscure academic journals, over the past decade it has increasingly become the default ideology in our public institutions. Critical Race theory is fast becoming America’s new institutional orthodoxy. Yet most Americans have never heard of it ... it is fast achieving "cultural hegemony"... The question is, is that good or bad? The connection to Marxism, and recommendations to suspend private property, seize land & wealth, redistribute same, teach children that the world is divided into 'oppressors' and 'oppressed', white people are 'oppressors' based on skin color, violent attempts to force people to agree and silence dissent, all tends to indicate this is not only bad, but destructive and disastrous.

The leftist media and Democrat politicians have been all over the map on Critical Race Theory (CRT) this year. First they ignored it. Then they said CRT is awesome. Then they said well it is good, but not taught in schools. Now they have gone so far as to say, 'CRT doesn't exist', 'it's not real'. Here are a few examples: MSNBC Host Joy Reid Says Parents Who Don't Want Critical Race Theory Taught in Schools Are Racists Maddow says CRT is not a real thing" Van Jones says 'CRT & education issues is trumped up dog whistling'. Critical race theory fears are based in lazy, racist thinking No, critical race theory isn't a "form of Marxism," as the Mississippi Center for Public Policy claims. Larry Sabato, Director of UVA Center for Politics, says CRT is not taught in Virginia. To the parents who have seen it in action in schools, read from the curriculum at school board meetings, provided examples of sexually explicit teaching and pictures, watched real history be torn down in there communities to be replaced by CRT and 1619 versions of history, been called domestic terrorists and have the FBI sent after them, to have a father arrested as he complains his daughter's rape in school was covered up by authorities, and many others, this level of gaslighting is unbelievable.
