What A Surprise!

from The Gray Area:
11/30/21:
CNN today said records released Monday by the office of the New York attorney general ‘raise serious questions’ and suspended Chris Cuomo indefinitely. What a surprise? Supposed journalists from CNN or the mainstream media at large aiding members of their favored political party, the Democrats. In this case, also helping a family member. Who woulda thunk it? Now, this is not a sin limited to the left wing media. FoxNews was properly assailed for Sean Hannity and Jeanine Pirro going on stage with Donald Trump at one of this rallies. These are just two examples of crossing journalistic lines that are all too apparent these days in our media. The growth of 24 hour news required the filling of hours of broadcast time whenever it was a slow news day around the world.  Out of this came new entertainment shows that discussed news events ad nauseum.  Separate from news reporting at first, this was seen as worthwhile for the audience, a deeper dive into news events. Today that has evolved into a seamless separation with news reporting and new entertainment appearing in content, and unfortunately mission, to be the very same. It is now easy to see the media bias and political narratives and the disappointment of its readers, viewers and listeners it causes.  News reporting is no longer, only news messaging designed to create opinions, not report events.  We know it occurs with daily routine, but occasionally we see the irrefutable evidence. Today is one of those days. Which is why we say, vary your news sources.  It is the only way in the 21st century to get a balance message on news events affecting our world.
