This was the goofiest exchange regarding Biden's plan to 'save us from omicron'. It happened on MSNBC and a very clear response was tweeted by Ben Shapiro.
The statement by the MSNBC panel, "
...if Covid goes away, it ’s bad for Republicans..." is just ridiculous. It defies common sense, science and reality.
It's the Democrats who lose if COVID goes away.
Who has and is using COVID to gets its political agenda passed, Democrats. Who used it to their advantage in the 2020 elections, Democrats. Who got election laws changed in swing states in 202o due to COVID, Democrats. Who got insecure mail in ballots used nationally in the 2020 election, Democrats. Who closed down their cities for COVID, Democrats. Who passed unnecessary Trillion dollar spending packages due to COVID, Democrats. It just never stops for Democrats, and if it did, it would be bad for them.
Even today, the
Biden administration is blaming COVID for gang lead 'smash & grab' robberies in Democrat cities across the country.
But, COVID is not going to go away anymore than the 1918 Spanish Flu went away in 1920. It is still with us and COVID will continue to be with us. Zero COVID is a fools errand and that is the Democrat strategy. Countries around the world who bought into zero COVID are finally seeing the light. Look at New Zealand.
What does the science tell us about Omicron variant? Nothing new, yet. But, the Democrats are jumping through their hats to scare the populace. And, don't talk about Fauci. He has so many contradictory positions on COVID over the past 2 years, why would anyone believe him anymore. By the way, who keeps trying to come up with treatments (Hydroxycloroquine, Ivermectin, etc) for COVID (Republicans) and who keeps trying to shoot them down (Democrats). Here is a case today where a court had to order the use of Ivermectin for a dying COVID patient and it worked!
And, there is always the border to add a little reality in to the COVID discussion.
Biden's new plan is more of the same, use COVID forever to help us politically, if at all possible. Because the truth is, they know it will never go away and that is just the way they like it!
