Leave it to New York schools to indoctrinate five-year-olds through coloring books. Students at PS 321 in Brooklyn’s Park Slope were given coloring books recently titled “What We Believe: A Black Lives Matter Principles Activity Book” as part of a lesson for Black History Month. The book goes through 13 tenets of the BLM movement throughout the coloring and activity worksheet compilation. According to The Free Press, the book incorporates BLM’s “national demands” such as “mandate black history & ethnic studies,” “hire more black teachers,” and even “fund counselors not cops.” Aside from teaching kids that they’re innately racist if they’re white, that black people need to be put on a pedestal simply because of the color of their skin (which is in and of itself racist), and the idea of defunding the police, the coloring book also features sections about the sixth and seventh tenants of the BLM movement: “Queer Affirming” and “Trans Affirming.” Reminder: this book was passed out to elementary students as young as five years old.
