Pelosi should be ashamed ... and so should McConnell & Trump

Pelosi does this year after year as the leader of the House. She drags out spending bills until the last minute then pushed through what could have been done earlier, under pressure, when no one can read a 6,000 page bill, hoping to sneak through spending she could otherwise not get passed. She has done the same thing again this year, drawn out a COVID relief package process for months while Americans suffered. She should be ashamed, but of course, she won't be and the media won't pressure her to take the heat for it. McConnell should also be ashamed, because he leads Republicans in the Senate who are supposedly against wasteful spending. COVID politics would not let him stand firm. The same is true for the President. Trump is expected to sign the COVID-19 relief package. At least one thing is positive in this bill: No state bailouts! The fact is that only about $200B of the money going to COVID relief, that's only about 10% of the total of the 2 bills. What else is in there? What other ridiculous spending is in the 6,000 page bills will take a while to sort out. Here is a short summary what we think is included. Rand Paul’s Senate floor speech against the COVID-19 bill and the crisis of 'free money for everyone' goes viral. More From The Independent:
