While I share Trump's frustration with AG William Barr not acting on his knowledge of the Durham and Hunter Biden investigations, throwing Barr under the bus is not the best reaction. It is exactly this type of lashing out after disappointments that most people dislike about President Trump.

By appointing Durham as a special prosecutor, Barr clearly has something in mind for these investigations. If he had something to go public with he has proven that he would not hesitate to or to comment on same. There is clearly a desire to see more and a legitimate concern that Biden and company will kill all such investigations in 2021.

At the same time, Barr shows he is quite the counter-puncher too, calling the President a 'deposed king ranting'. Though not a useful counter for Barr, it was popular with anti-Trump media.

There are clearly more professional ways to handle these kinds of 'palace' disagreements.
