The United Arab Emirates, sometimes simply called the Emirates, or the UAE, is a federal absolute monarchy in Western Asia at the southeast end of the Arabian Peninsula on the Persian Gulf, bordering Oman to the east and Saudi Arabia to the south, as well as sharing maritime borders with Qatar to the west and Iran to the north.

By this time next week, the prospects for regional peace in the Middle East will have taken a giant leap forward. Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu will represent Israel. Crown Prince Mohammed bin Zayed al-Nahyan of Abu Dhabi will be represented by his brother, United Arab Emirates Foreign Minister Abdullah bin Zayed al-Nahyan. President Trump will preside over the White House signing ceremony of a peace agreement that is the crowning diplomatic achievement of his presidency.
