Political Correctness
Definition from Google. noun: the avoidance, often considered as taken to extremes, of forms of expression or action that are perceived to exclude, marginalize, or insult groups of people who are socially disadvantaged or discriminated against. A simple example: If Laura, Kate and Sarah go out for lunch, they will call each other Laura, Kate and Sarah. If Mike, Dave and John go out, they will affectionately refer to each other as Fat Boy, Bubba and Wildman. Is this offensive to the men doing the nicknaming? Is it offensive to others who might hear them? Does it matter? A more complex example: As reported in the media, in a memo to students sent out by West Virginia University (WVU), Title IX coordinator James Goins, Jr. declares that anyone who refuses to use a person’s preferred transgender pronouns is breaking federal law! A political example: Robert Litan, a Democrat, was fired from his left leaning think tank after delivering testimony against an Elizabeth Warren-backed Labor Department plan to regulate financial advisers. Half of House Democrats and virtually all Republicans in Congress oppose the plan because of its costs. Instead of rebutting his argument, Ms. Warren decided to punish it, he was fired from his think tank. One ridiculous example: Princeton University’s ‘Men’s Engagement Manager’, to rehabilitate men that are too masculine. Obviously there are many more, even more dramatic, examples of political correctness gone wild in our culture today. Political correctness can be best described as the opposite of or the enemy of truth.

Control of Language

10/22/19
from The Gray Area:
10/22/19:
One of the consistent control elements of the Democrat party, Deep State bureaucrats and mainstream media i that of language control. Otherwise referred to as Political Correctness. If you can control the language you can control the issue. Once the enemy is established, the community would come together in opposition of it. A longtime rule of the radical left, by which the aforementioned trio uses language control to accomplish. Below is President Trump's use of language in this tweet about impeachment which got universal media outrage today: Now is there anything wrong with his use of that word? No. Not one thing. He appropriately uses the word to reflect his view of the unjustified onslaught he has to endure, by the aforementioned trio. The dictionary says the word means; “to put to death (as by hanging) by mob action without legal approval or permission.” Lookups spiked 17,400% today! There are many words the aforementioned trio don't want anyone but them to own. For example:
  • Lynching (Trump called racist)
  • Discriminate (no longer good to have ‘discriminating taste’)
  • Niggardly (look it up - Bus exec fired for using the word)
  • Guerilla (sportscaster fired for using the word, language police thought he said gorilla. So we can add that the language police are stupid!)
  • Monkey business (media uproar like with lynching)
  • Mobs (CNN does not let guests use that word to describe violent protestors. Also, interesting that the word is used in the above definition of lynching.)
  • Gay (doesn’t mean happy anymore)
And, many more I'm sure you can recall. We have to resist (sorry to steal that word aforementioned trio) the language and thought police. It is one of the main reasons 60M people love President Trump. He uses real language, not political language.
