Judaism
As described in Wikipedia, Judaism is the religion, philosophy, and way of life of the Jewish people. A monotheistic religion originating in the Hebrew Bible, Judaism is considered by religious Jews to be the expression of the covenantal relationship God developed with the Children of Israel. Rabbinic Judaism holds that God revealed his laws and commandments to Moses on Mount Sinai in the form of both the Written and Oral Torah. Judaism claims a historical continuity spanning more than 3,000 years. It is one of the oldest monotheistic religions, and the oldest to survive into the present day. The Hebrews / Israelites were already referred to as "Jews" in later books of the Tanakh such as the Book of Esther, with the term Jews replacing the title "Children of Israel". Jews are an ethnoreligious group and include those born Jewish and converts to Judaism.

Pope Francis calls for recognition of Jerusalem as international city.

from The Gray Area,
12/23/17:

On December 6th, Pope Francis spoke about the situation in Jerusalem.

Pope Francis today made an appeal for world actors to respect of the status quo of Jerusalem, in accordance with the relevant U.N. resolutions, and to let “wisdom and prudence prevail” so as “to avoid adding new elements of tension” in the Middle East and “in a world already shaken and scarred by many cruel conflicts.” His appeal is clearly addressed to President Donald J. Trump, who will reportedly declare today that the United States recognizes Jerusalem as the capital of Israel and will move its embassy from Tel Aviv to the Holy City in a reversal of almost seven decades of U.S. foreign policy. The pope is effectively telling the president, without naming him, not to proceed down this road, ...

After Wednesday's UN vote to condemn the US decision to move its embassy, the Holy See made this statement: "The Holy See calls for peaceful resolution that respects the nature of Jerusalem, its sacredness and universal value, and reiterates that only an international guaranteed status can preserve its unique character and be an assurance for dialogue and reconciliation for peace in the region.

Pope Franicis added these comments: “I make a heartfelt appeal so that all commit themselves to respecting the status quo of the city, in conformity with the pertinent resolutions of the United Nations,” Pope Francis I said in a statement made at the time. “I cannot keep quiet about my deep worry about the situation that has been created in the last few days.
