"...they want us dead."

At what point do you believe someone when they tell you they are going to kill you? The first time? The 10th time? The 100th time? How about after 100 years? Clearly the world should have heeded Adolf Hitler’s anti-Semitism during his rise to power in Germany in the 1930s, and Osama bin Laden’s declaration of jihad against America in 1996. Palestinian radicals, including Hamas, have been saying 'death to Israel' regularly for a century. They have been demonstrating that desire off and on throughout the past century. The latest was last weekend in a horrendous attack against Israel. Most of the civilized world believes this is finally the time for an 'unconditional surrender' of violent terrorists like Hamas. Sen. Lindsay Graham said Hamas are “modern-day religious Nazis” who want to ethnically cleanse the Middle East and destroy the nation of Israel entirely. He clearly believes them when they say they want to kill Jews. Yet Palestinian supporters around the world are still protesting against Israel. We live in a backward environment where, for example, the NYU Law Student Bar Association’s president posted that “the full responsibility for this tremendous loss of life” rests on the Israeli government. Thirty Harvard student groups “hold the Israeli regime entirely responsible for all unfolding violence.” All while the leaders of many top universities fail to make public statements. AOC & Ilham Omar went on the offensive against Graham and Israel saying his words called for ethnic cleansing of Palestinians. AOC further said it was wrong for Israel to defend themselves against these atrocities.

This is what progressives would refer to as 'blaming the victim', but not in this case. The reason is the victim, Israel, is a hated political enemy of the left, therefore, anything and everything is acceptable. Even murder. Antisemitism anyone? A Jewish student had enough and broke down after witnessing a pro-Palestinian rally at the University of Washington. But, no one listened to her. The rally continued. It is a crazy world. Students at UW can rally in support of a murderous terrorist group, and at the same time protest against and stop conservative speakers on campus. This logic is ignorant, deluded & dangerous.
