Just this week the Guttmacher Institute, Planned Parenthood’s former research arm, announced that abortion rates are down 13% from 2008, their lowest point since Roe v. Wade was enacted in 1973.

Of course, the Big Abortion industry is denying that pro-life Americans and organizations have anything to do with this decline. But, they do admit that its influence is declining.

Americans United for Life President and CEO Dr. Charmaine Yoest noted: “It is impossible really to know the true abortion rate, given that abortionists are not required to report on the chemical and surgical abortions that they do. Their reporting is totally voluntary, and in fact California does not report at all.”

“But what is compelling about this report can be seen on the front page of the Guttmacher Institute website, where they note the record number of new pro-life laws on the book, while they claim in this report that these measures have no impact. The truth is that these common-sense limits on abortion protect women and their unborn children from abortion industry abuses.”

“And no matter how many abortions there are, abortion carries serious risks for both mother and unborn child, which should be of great concern to us all. Abortion should come with a warning label and be regulated like the medical procedure that abortionists claim it to be because of the health risks of abortion for women.
