George Soros, Godfather of the Left

Read the following quote:

“It is sort of a disease when you consider yourself some kind of God, the creator of everything, but I feel comfortable about it now since I began to live it out.“

The speaker of that quote is the foreign-born socialist, billionaire investor, philanthropist and backer of liberal causes, George Soros.

He is certainly no God, but he thinks he is.

George Soros’ billions are providing the leftist journalism and propaganda we see watch night on TV and read in our local newspapers.

He has already come out with $25,000 in support of Hillary in 2016.

Now, based on the MRC’s investigative research, it appears that Soros’ money also helped launch the IRS’ assault on the First Amendment and the Tea Party and conservative groups.

MRC plans to lift the curtain on this very anti-American socialist’s spending on so-called “news’ groups and other leftist causes, through a effort called The Soros Project.

Here is what we have learned so far:

– The IRS scandal can be traced back to a series of letters that the liberal groups Campaign Legal Center (CLC) and Democracy 21 sent to the IRS back in 2010 and 2011. Both groups are funded by George Soros’ “Open Society Foundations“.

– The talking points of these groups then bounced a carefully created liberal “echo chamber”, until they eventually got the attention of Barack Obama’s allies in the national liberal media.

– This echo chamber is the Soros-backed group called “The Media Consortium”. It consists of 63 separate left-wing media outlets that network and share leftist propaganda and have received $675,000 in Soros’ funds. Outlets include The Nation, Democracy Now! and The American Prospect. Mother Jones and Alternet have both also received individual funding.

– Mother Jones, Alternet and other “Media Consortium“ media outlets began puhblishing reports about advocating a tough IRS stance on conservative groups.

– By December 2011, the topic was picked up in a New York Times editorial calling for “the IRS to crack down on the secret political money already flooding the 2012 campaign from partisan activists…“.

– On September 17th a House Oversight memo pointed directly to The Washington Post’s heavy anti_Tea Party coverage as a contributing factor in inspiring the IRS to target pro-liberty and conservative groups.

– Then, the leftist radical groups funded by Soros encouraging their allies to downplay the scandal, hide the truth and even defend the IRS.

– – MSNBC host Lawrence O’Donnell: “I believe the IRS did nothing wrong“

– – The Huffington Post, American Prospect, The New Republic, Think Progress, Reader Supported News, the Campaign Legal Center, The Center for Public Integrity and Democracy 21 all ran aticles or sent out press releases defending the IRS.

It’s all part of what we call the Soros Web of 180 media outlets and leftist groups.

In addition to advocating the abuse of federal power to silence conservative and christian groups, Soros and his web are also working relentlessly to:

– Diminsh the integrity of Fox News,

– Smear, deman and censor conservative voices,

– chain teh free markets of capitalism,

– Neuter the US Constitution,

– Erase Judeo-Christain values from our culture,

Scary? Absolutely!
