The curtain continues to be rolled back on the increasing attacks on Christians by the military. Numerous U.S. Army troops were told last week in a presentation that the American Family Association (AFA), a national Christian organization, should be classified as a “domestic hate group” because the group advocates for traditional family values. The values include standing up for the biblical views of marriage and sexuality in the public square. A soldier who attended the briefing said he was “completely taken back by this blatant attack not only on the AFA but Christians and our beliefs.”

This follows the story last month of Senior Master Sgt. Phillip Monk, a 19-year Air Force veteran serving at Lackland Air Force Base in San Antonio, who was relieved of his duties because he disagreed with his openly gay commander over gay marriage. And according to a local pastor in San Antonio, numerous church members are also currently facing persecution at Lackland for their religious beliefs. Under this Administration is there now any doubt that there is a coordinated effort to attack Americans of faith, including in the military?
