Vietnam Veterans Memorial Damaged by Bomb Blast

It’s a sad day in America when those who are opposed to religious freedom and the use of religious imagery in veterans memorials think they have the right to destroy those images.

This past weekend, someone placed an improvised explosive device (IED) next to the Coos Bay Vietnam Veterans Memorial. Liberty Institute is assisting the city of Coos Bay, Oregon, in evaluating demand letters received from the ACLU and the Freedom From Religion Foundation, questioning the constitutionality of this veterans memorial.

This is a truly shocking development for all Americans.
