The Biden Administration’s official fiscal year 2025 defense budget request does not fund the military sufficiently and does not allocate resources appropriately.
The Heritage Foundation’s conservative defense budget calls for a 3 percent increase in defense spending with major internal reallocations and reforms.
New spending and reallocated funds should be focused on procurement, especially of ships, planes, and munitions.
