Farmer: “I can’t figure out for the life of me why they want to build them here.”
The irony, as the video makes clear, is that the farmers won’t even benefit from any electricity the turbines produce. Massive cabling is being installed to push the power all the way to California in an attempt to bolster the once “golden” state’s failing energy grid with electricity they can claim as green.
