A year-end report House has not shed a nice light on the immigration policies of President Joe Biden. The report showed that more migrants were caught at the border in October and November of 2022 than in the entirety of 2020, the Center For Immigration Studies reported.
Andrew Arthur, who is a former immigration court judge and is now with the Center for Immigration Studies, said that the 411,000 illegal immigrants caught crossing in those months were greater than those caught in the entirety of 2020.
Agents at the Southwest border set a new apprehension record in FY 2022, when they caught more than 2.2 million illegal entrants, blowing away the old record (set in FY 2021) by more than 547,000,” the former judge said,” Arthur said.
“That’s more apprehensions in just two months than agents made in all of FY 2011, FY 2012, FY 2015, FY 2016, FY 2017, FY 2018, or FY 2020.
