from Heritage Action,
3/15/22:

Judge Ketanji Brown Jackson has been nominated by President Biden to fill the vacancy on the Supreme Court created by Justice Stephen Breyer’s retirement. Her confirmation hearings will begin on Monday, March 21st. This will be Senators first opportunity to ask questions of Judge Brown on her judicial philosophy and how she would apply the law.

There are three areas where Judge Brown’s record is weak:

Crime (just one example)
Illegal immigration (several examples)
Organized labor (one example)

All three issues (and more) deserve serious questions and scrutiny of how she would interpret the law.

At the end of the day, Senate Democrats have the necessary votes to confirm Judge Brown. This does not mean that Senate Republicans do not have a role to play in the confirmation process.
