Raising the Debt Ceiling For Democrat Spending

Soon the U.S will hit the debt ceiling deadline, where Congress will be forced to address our growing debt. The debt ceiling determines how much the U.S. government is permitted to borrow.

Republicans should not help Democrats raise the debt ceiling. Democrats have spent and continue to spend trillions upon trillions of dollars. They want to spend nearly $7 trillion this year alone. Democrats have the ability to raise the debt limit through reconciliation, and Republicans should not help them pass reckless spending bills by voting to raise the debt ceiling. If Democrats want to continue to add to the debt load by trillions, they should be forced to find the votes to raise the debt ceiling among their own caucus. It should be clear to voters which legislators have increased the debt load by trillions.
