Franklin Graham Gets Major Ruling From Court – They Just Decided In Favor Of Religious Liberty
< < Go Back
…not that long ago, a radical leftist group tried to ban Franklin Graham from appearing in ads for a three-day festival.
The group accused Graham of bigotry, because of biblically-backed views. The case was taken to court.
And Graham just received a major victory.
From Western Journal:
A court has ruled in favor of the organizers of the 2018 Lancashire Festival of Hope in England after Blackpool Transport removed advertisements for the three-day festival from its buses…
The judge ruled that the council and bus firm had violated the Equality Act and the Human Rights Act by banning the advertisements.
“This is an important moment for religious freedom in the UK,” Graham said in a statement.
An LGBT group pressured the Blackpool Council and Blackpool Transport to take down ads for a three-day festival because they featured Rev. Franklin Graham.
The group attacked the Christian minister, because of his biblical views on marriage.
The local leadership caved to the activists, forcing the organizers of the Christian event to take down their advertisements.
The situation was taken all the way to court, and Graham was vindicated.
