This week the Senate will vote on the House-passed bill, the Paycheck Fairness Act (H.R.7). This bill would require employees to prove any discrepancies in wages are based on business necessity. In reality, it opens the door to litigation, and benefits trial attorneys — not employees. It would lower wages, and eliminate performance-based pay.
