At least three dead, including a gunman, and 15 injured in Vienna terror attack

A series of shootings in Vienna left at least three people and more than a dozen injured in what Austrian Chancellor Sebastian Kurz said on Monday night was “definitely” a terror attack.

Police said that the shootings across six locations began around 8 p.m. local time and involved suspects armed with rifles. Authorities said at least three people, including one of the attackers, were killed and 15 others were injured, according to the Associated Press.

One officer was among those injured, police said.
