Charges in Breonna Taylor’s death should be considered by a new prosecutor, Taylor’s mother and her attorneys said Wednesday, a demand backed by two anonymous grand jurors who said the attorney general’s office refused to give them all the evidence they asked for.

The pressure from the jurors, who said “an uproar” broke out when prosecutors told them they only recommended wanton endangerment charges against one officer, builds on existing calls for a new investigation from Taylor’s family and protesters who have been marching in Louisville for more than 150 straight days.
