With all the conversation in the media and among Democrat politicians over the past 4 years about Donald Trump’s taxes,it is no surprise that a story would come out in the New York Times about his taxes 37 days before the election.

So is it a real issue for voters? Lets just use some common sense.

1. As is the consistent media approach with negative Trump press, it starts with ‘anonymous’ sources.

2.Is illegality alleged? Not that I saw.

3. It is over the 10 years prior to his presidency. If those years were a concern where is the IRS? They should and would be first to question such a high profile tax return, and they apparently have no concerns.

4. The Times report apparently invalidates 3 Democrat & media allegations: no Russian evidence, no payoff to Stormy Daniels, and no illegal activity.

5. Alleged is that Trump must not be a very good businessman if he has all these losses. When you read the article it would appear just the opposite. He and his accountants are smart enough to take every legal means to minimize his tax liability. That is business 101 and and seems to have been exceedingly well played by Mr. Trump. If anything was illegal, the NYT would have put it in the headline.

6. This same topic was brought up in 2016 and dispensed with. Trump admitted paying no taxes due to a huge loss carry forward. Is this just more of the same old story?

7. Biden team puts an ad out immediately. Humm, coordinated?

8.If people have a problem with a billionaire paying comparatively little taxes, they should take it up with Congress. Congress writes the tax code! And, that’s where Joe Biden, has been for 47 years!

9. What is scheduled to happen 3 days after this story was published? The 1st Presidential Debate for 2020. This story is a plant, to insure questions forcing Trump to be defensive and to deflect from other questions the Democrats done want to see.

10. The New York Times also offers in the piece, there is more to come. Well, we do still have a month before the election so, of course, their is more to come.
